By Kids To Kids

With animation, drawings created in the classroom reach the world. Next stop: Finland.

“With our methodology, children draw and narrate stories based on classroom topics. Later, these drawings become animations or games,” says Barroso. Teachers take on the role of mentors, delivering the content and assisting with the submission of drawings and recordings to the animation team.

The “By Kids To Kids” platform is being implemented in schools across Europe.

The startup entered the market in 2016, when it received an investment of 2.5 million reais from the Progresso school network. Two years later, the operation reached public schools in Brazil and began expanding into countries such as Denmark, Spain, Germany, and Ukraine. Of the 120 schools in its portfolio, 30% are located in these regions. After this initial phase, BKTK is preparing to open its first international branch in Finland. “We will invest around 700,000 reais in the Finnish structure and are receiving full support from the government.” The invitation came through Business Finland, the agency responsible for attracting new businesses to the country. The startup is expected to close the year with revenue of 7 million reais, an increase of nearly 30% compared to 2022.
