By Kids to Kids Platform Receives International Seal of Pedagogical Quality

Recognition highlights the innovation, safety, and collaborative potential of the storytelling and animation tool used in schools

By Kids to Kids – From Kids to Kids, a storytelling and animation platform designed for schools and educational projects, has received the EdTech Impact Pedagogical Quality Seal following an independent evaluation conducted by experts in user experience (UX) and pedagogy. According to the report, the platform stands out for its high educational quality and effectiveness in promoting learning.

The analysis rated the platform’s pedagogical approach as “good to excellent,” with scores that reinforce the quality of the experience offered to students: active–passive; construction–practice; non-linear–linear; and collaborative–individual. These indicators recognize the platform’s ability to foster learning through practice, critical thinking, and teamwork—core pillars of the By Kids to Kids methodology.

The report also highlighted high levels of engagement, particularly in the areas of respect and safety, which were rated as “well supported.” In addition, the platform was mapped to the transversal competencies of the Finnish curriculum for students from 3rd to 6th grade, promoting multiliteracies, cultural competence, interaction, and self-expression.

“This recognition validates our mission to offer students a creative and collaborative way of learning through stories and animations. The EdTech Impact seal reinforces that engagement and results can go hand in hand, with teachers at the center of the experience,” said Vitor Azambuja and Gilberto Barroso, education specialists and founders of By Kids to Kids.

Among the main strengths, evaluators highlighted the ease of use for both students and teachers, as well as the clear pathway for creating writing and visual storytelling projects that inspire pride in the final results. The report also praises the structured collaboration within the creative process, which fosters the development of socio-emotional skills such as communication, feedback, and decision-making, and emphasizes a safe and inclusive environment, free of stereotypes and transparent about how projects are shared.

The experts also pointed out opportunities for improvement, such as the inclusion of formative feedback, post-project reflection tools, and video tutorials. According to By Kids to Kids, these recommendations are already included in the platform’s development roadmap, reinforcing the team’s ongoing commitment to pedagogical innovation and the quality of the educational experience.
